We are all in for a treat! Most of my office staffs got their long awaited increase. We are planning to go to Dammam, a major city in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, around 1hr and 45mins bus ride from our camp in Aindar. It's Mr. Joey Gabison's time to treat us for dinner. As we arrive in Dammam, we dropped of in 1st street for a stroll and tried to find a suitable restaurant for dinner.
We came across Mishwar Restaurant just along 1st street in Dammam. We all decided to have our dinner here.
The restaurant caters Kabsa , Shawarma , Kebabs , Broasted , Pasta, Pizza, and a wide variety of Grilled Dishes and Vegetable Salads. Looking at their extensive menu, we decided to order 2 Chicken Kabsa, 2 Lamb Chops, & 2 Mixed Kebabs with our usual pepsi cola drink. All dishes comes with onion-mint salad, tomato puree, french fries and a choice of Kubos or rice.
As the food came in, we started munching and tried each ofvthe dish that was served. All of the food that we ordered were delicious but one stood out... It was the Grilled Lamb Chops! The Lamb Chops were the best I've tasted so far. It was perfectly grilled, flavor was heavenly - combination of spice, charbroiled aroma, and compliment of tomato puree as sauce, really is a delicacy not to miss.
All 6 of us (Lyndon Monzon, Jonathan Collado, Joel Fernandez, Joey Gabison, Feliciano Panim, & Edwin Javier) had their fill and ate like a king. Servings are big, 1 dish is good for 2 persons. There were leftovers after the meal. We paid a total of SR185 making it more or less SR30 per person. Not bad for a very festive meal! The Shawarma Plate and Pestolooks good! We'll try that next time!
