There's another Thai inspired restaurant in Al-Khobar named Bangkok Restaurant. It is exactly beside Phuket Restaurant. I wonder if they were owned by just one person... Oh well, better give it a try so we know the difference.
Setting, food, as well the prices is very similar to Phuket Restaurant. We ordered the following:
Stir Fried Beef with Cashew Nuts
Fried Cuttle Fish
Mixed Seafoods Soup
Taste was also very similar to their neighbor restaurant which made my suspicion more solid, that both restaurants are of a single owner. Although quite similar, I thought food taste better on their counterpart restaurant. But service is a bit faster here.
Again, it's another gastronomical delight. It's highly recommended if yo crave for Asian cuisine.
My Rating:
Food/Taste: 9/10 (great taste and flavors)
Ambiance: 8/10 (quite dimmed just right fo me, good for dating couples)
Cleanliness: 8/10
Service: 8/10 (fast service, although there were just few customers when we were there)
Establishment: 7/10 ( restaurant is a bit small and there is no alloted parking area)
Price: 7.5/10 (A bit pricey than your usual restaurant)
Overall: 7.8/10
