Overseas Absentee Voting Saudi Arabia

Good news fellow OFW's in Saudi Arabia!  Now you can make a difference in our country's electoral process even if you are overseas.  The Overseas Absentee Voting Program makes sure that you can cast your vote on the election candidates of your choice.  All you need is to be a registered voter and you're all set.  Although for the absentee voting, it will be held approximately a month earlier than the actual election in the Philippines.

This year 2013, the voting was held in the 'Philippine School In Dammam' (PSD).  And in support to this event, our company, 'Saudi Cement Company' (SCC), provided its Filipino employees an airconditioned bus and packed lunch to all those who will be participating.  Since it was held on a friday, wherein most OFW's are on a day-off, many were able to participate.
Thank's to the Saudi goverment for allowing this Overseas Absentee Voting.  It is one way of ensuring that Filipinos here can still make a difference by casting their votes.  In a way, it also makes many OFW's here in Saudi Arabia feel a bit more closer to their homeland.
