La Paz Batchoy Restaurant & Bakeshop

No, we're not in the Philippines, this is Saudi Arabia, particularly in Al-Khobar, along 9th Street in King Fahad Road.  We went here to check out this Filipino restaurant - 'La Paz Batchoy Restaurant & Bakeshop'.

Aside from their specialty - La Paz Batchoy, they also serve traditional Filipino dishes.  Because we were quite hungry, we skipped their specialty and ordered heavy meals.  We ordered, grilled pusit, mixed sea food soup, sinigang na hipon, chopsuey, papaitan and sizzling sisig.  The food was ok but what standed out was their sizzling sisig.  It was extra delicious.

We had our fill and still have time to take pictures.  It's a good place to dine specially with friends and family.  Price per meal is affordable, averaging SR22.

With: Ermie Capispisan, Jonathan Collado, Lyndon Monzon, and Marlon Gonzales

My Rating:
Food / Taste:  7/10 (food tastes normally good, but the sizzling sisig was extra delicious)
Ambiance:  8/10 (good lighting and not noisy)
Cleanliness:  8/10 (quite clean)
Service: 9/10 (courteous staff and food was served quickly)
Establishment:  7/10 ( a bit hard to find specially if you're not familiar with the area, parking is along the street)
Price:  9/10 ( reasonable price)
Overall:  8/10
