Pit Stop At Saudi-Bahrain Causeway Border

Right after our spending the night at Al Baher Beach Villas in Al Khobar, we decided to have a quick pit stop at the Saudi-Bahrain (King Fahd) Causeway Border.  This is the border between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.  To get there, you will cross the 25-kilometer Causeway Bridge where-in you have to pay a toll fee of SR25 for a class 1 vehicle.

Half way the bridge is the Mid Island which is the actual border and this where the passport control is located.  Unless you have a valid visa, you can only go as far from here. There are several commercial establishments, fast food restaurants, as well as a corniche/boulevard in the area where a lot of people hangout.  This is where we stopped for a while to take pictures before we took the long drive home.
