Thai Flavors In Saudi Arabia At Phuket Restaurant Al-Khobar

I always wanted to visit this restaurant because it's one of the most sought of by many Filipinos here in Al-Khobar. Located just one block from Al-Ramaniyah Mall,  Phuket Restaurant offers a mix of Thai dishes as well as Filipino Dishes to offer us a more southeast asian taste.

Here, you can order in sizes of your choice, small(1-2 persons), medium(3-4 persons), large(5-6 peesons).  Serving for three(3), we ordered the following:

Tamyam Pla - Shrimp Soup with a sour base

Pad Khee Mao Ruam - Stir-fried beef, chicken, shrimp and cuttle fish - a bit on the chilli side

Pad Thualan Tao - Stir-fried sweet peas with shrimp, chicken, and quail eggs.

Sweet And Sour Lapu-Lapu

Their Menu:

Food taste great although serving time was quite slow, maybe because of the number of customers that time.  Expect 15-20 mins, before your food is served.

It's another highly recommended restaurant especially for Filipinos.  Beside Phuket Restaurant is another similar restaurant named Bangkok Restaurant.  I wonder if it is owned by one person only? Well, it will definitely on my next to visit list.

Full And Filled At Fillfilah Restaurant

We're here in Dammam again and we wanted to try something new. Here at Commercial St., lies series of restaurants from both ends of the road.  Amongst all, we all decided to try Fillfilah Restaurant.

It's an Arabic Restaurant serving mostly grilled dishes, arabic appetizers, shawarma, sandwiches, and fresh fruit juices. Serving for eight(8), we ordered the grilled spare ribs, shish kebabs, and grilled chicken.  Each order comes with vegetable sidings, french fries, rice and kubos(arabic bread).

The food was great! The ribs are tender and flavorful.  one of the highlights is their kubos.  It was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.  It's perfect specialy when served still hot.  I almost didn't eat rice because of it.

I recommend this restaurant if you crave for grilled meat.  They also deliver for your convenience. Overall, another gret gastronomic experience!
