Istanbul Restaurant is located in the heart of Abqaiq, K.S.A. just beside the town market. Owmed by a Turkish national, it caters the usual Arabic dishes like,
Kabsa,
Kebabs,
Broasted, and other grilled dishes.
Usually, they serve lamb, beef, poultry, fish & shrimp. All their dishes comes with veggie salad, french fries, & a choice of
Kubos or rice. Unlike other similar restaurants in Saudi Arabia, the taste is very distinct here. I noticed that Turkish touch on these types of dishes are usually more flavorful.
Price is very affordable. A dish usually range from SR12-SR18. When we visited(group of 4 persons), we ordered, Grilled Chicken, Grilled Lamb, Grilled Quail, Grilled Fish, and Beef Kebabs all with onion-mint salad and french fries on the side. All the dishes were delicous ans very flavorful, perfect with your local pepsi cola. Suprisingly, we just paid a total of SR75 for treat!
